Barbara is an experienced Executive Assistant and Project manager who specializes in managing client centric office operations. She is equipped with the exceptional ability to facilitate all aspects of internal and external communications and brings with her 14 plus years of operational, planning, and daily administrative and leadership experience working with C level executives.

Barbara has a proven talent for aligning business objectives with comprehensive administrative knowledge and has achieved maximum operational impacts through organizations. Having held positions in the hospitality, educational, and health industries, she has a specialized skill set that has contributed to a harmonious and fastidious work ethic.

In her previous role as Senior Catering and Conference Service Manager at the UVA Darden School of Business, Barbara played an instrumental role in event strategies that included key negotiations with vendors, leading multiple projects concurrently, and actively building and sustaining key stakeholder
relationships. Amongst her other significant contributions, Barbara made her greatest influence on the department through collective collaboration with support departments in developing an updated, more efficient data entry system. A true believer in development, she advocated for and created one-on-one
coaching plans for employees that desired growth and guidance.

Barbara is also active in many organizations in her community. She serves on the board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald School and is also a part of the Birth Sisters of Charlottesville Collective as a doula that provides labor support for women of color. Barbara also holds the position of Minister of Music
at the Zion Union Baptist Church. Keeping true to her musical background, she also serves on the Community Engagement Committee for The Oratorio Society of Virginia.
