Anne Jewett is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education in the School of Education and Human Development at the University of Virginia. She directs the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction program while also teaching and advising students in the Ed.S. and Ed.D. programs in Curriculum and Instruction. She has experience as a teacher, school administrator, curriculum specialist, and community college instructor across PreK through graduate-level contexts. As a generalist, her research interests include promoting equity and social justice within all layers of education, developing instructional leadership, and supporting in-service practitioners with developing and delivering high quality instruction.
