Amber Hardin

ARC Research Specialist

Amber received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia in 2015. After graduating, she co-managed UVA’s P.H.A.D. (Promoting Healthy Adolescent Development) Lab where she oversaw the development of an afterschool program for middle schoolers aimed at improving connectedness to adults and academic outcomes. From there, she went on to work with the local community service board, Region Ten, writing and implementing support plans for individuals diagnosed with an intellectual disability.

Amber brings over 5 years of research experience to her current position as a Research Specialist with UVA’s Curry School. She supports various projects within the Supporting Transformative Autism Research initiative.

In her free time, Amber likes to explore Charlottesville and hang out with her 2 dogs and 3 guinea pigs.
