Faculty Members Accepting Fall 2022 Ph.D. Students

The UVA School of Education and Human Development’s Ph.D. programs prepare scholars who engage in original research. Students participate in research apprenticeships, assisting their faculty mentors in such activities as conceptualizing research projects, collecting and analyzing data, and writing for publication.

The following faculty members are accepting a Ph.D. student mentee starting in the fall of 2022. Accepted Ph.D. students will work alongside their mentor professor as a research assistant on their projects as an integral part of their doctoral curriculum.
