Tashia Abry

Tashia Abry is passionate about high-quality education and the importance of data in informing educational practice and policy. With a Ph.D. in educational psychology and having worked in public and private sectors, Abry is happy to be part of the Virginia Literacy Partnerships effort to develop, pilot, and launch the state-supported literacy screener for Virginia preK-3 students. Her primary roles on the team include pilot participant management, state and division reporting, coordination of collaborating groups, and data collection support.
