Biography

Megan Pellei is a doctoral student studying reading education. Before completing degrees in elementary education, with an add-on endorsement in English as a Second Language instruction, and reading education, Pellei taught elementary and middle school English as a Foreign Language for the Amami City Board of Education in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan for two years.

Currently, Pellei works under the guidance of her advisor, Professor Colby Hall. Her research interests include reading instruction and emergent multilingual learners.
