Jessica Livingston

Jessica Livingston joined the school as the director of student affairs in 2016. She moved here from the Boston area where her experience included managing a Ph.D. program at Harvard University and working for an action learning program at the MIT Sloan School of Management. She has worked in a variety of roles within higher education and non-profits. Livingston is interested in assessing and streamlining processes, developing programming and projects focused on creating new audiences and connecting community, and building relationships internally and externally to ensure the success of an organization. Her experience includes student programming, crisis management, admissions, academic program management, fundraising, and operations.

In addition to an academic background in higher education, she also has a bachelor's and master's in art history and public art. Her arts background fosters her interest in participatory projects and interactive social spaces. She believes giving stakeholders the opportunity to participate in a meaningful way often results in better programming and more successful initiatives.
