Biography

Danese Caley is a dedicated advocate and educator based in LaGrange, Kentucky, with over 15 years of experience in instructional leadership and youth development. With a solid commitment to diversity, equity, and social justice, Caley has developed and implemented innovative educational programs that support diverse student populations. Her expertise in curriculum development, community partnership building, and grant writing has led to successfully enhancing learning environments and resources, including the inception of a Maker Space at East Oldham Middle School. A skilled communicator and collaborator, Caley utilizes data-driven decision-making to assess program effectiveness and advocate for student needs.

Throughout her career, Caley has demonstrated a passion for finding meaningful solutions to the challenges present in public education. Caley is committed to the health and well-being of students and staff and is enthusiastic to continue this work with the Compassionate Schools Project. She is an unrelenting advocate for underserved and underrepresented populations and is interested in creating equitable, inclusive, and engaging learning environments that support students and staff.
