Carolyn Gosse’s primary research interests lie at the intersection of early childhood education and systems-building for examining and supporting the contexts in which young children grow and develop. Gosse’s experience as a preschool speech-language pathologist informs her focus on understanding how we can best serve our most vulnerable children. Currently, her work focuses on building the data infrastructure that supports strong, high-quality systems for early childcare and education, including understanding the landscape of Virginia’s system for improving early care and education experiences of children ages birth to five.
