Biography

Bryan Christ is a doctoral student at the University of Virginia's School of Data Science focusing on developing and advancing methodology for the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to education, particularly testing and assessment. As a former teacher and educational nonprofit leader with a social science background, Christ took a nontraditional path to data science, but one that gives him a deep understanding of how data science can be appropriately, ethically and effectively applied to support the education system.

Christ is motivated to provide all students with the customized educational opportunities and supports they need to reach their full academic potential and thrive.
